Having gone through the challenges of multiple family members aging in place and aging in a care facility, we realized that an information hub specific to San Diego County would be useful to families supporting the elders who have supported them. There are so very many sites out there, and we encourage you to pursue them. This site skims the top of some of the programs and services available. We hope to have encouraged you, however, because you are not alone.
Note: Government resource pages are an important component to this journey as well and are much more in-depth regarding some of the things mentioned here. Also, programs and services update regularly so please let us know of any new or changed services.

Dolores Was Our Inspiration
Dolores lived to 100 years old, and her journey of aging was a bittersweet one where the entire family learned how important evolving services were in helping to care for her and in keeping her as comfortable as possible, in every way.
Newest Service Found
There are new services available regularly, and this one takes heavy, bulky trash cans to the curb for pick up by trash/recycle/greenery trucks, and then the service puts the cans back once empty. The perfect San Diego County service for the right time/situation. www.TrashDayCanCarriers.com
